Michael has always prided himself with taking techniques from the “rt” ceramics world from which he comes, and applying them into larger production. The Borealis collection trays are produced with a crystal glaze, fired twice to bring out celestial colors and patterns on each piece. Each piece has its own unique pattern and is finished with 24k gold hand painted, free formed edges.

Using a style between fusion and pop, but always in step with the times, Mario Luca Giusti brings an elegant yet practical collection to the table. Perfect for outdoor entertaining, the collection is composed of wonderful synthetic material such as polycarbonate, acrylic and melamine.

Some famous hotels use the Giusti line of excellent products, including the JK Palace of Capri, Il Pellicano, Porto Ercole and the Mama Shelter in Paris, designed by Philippe Stark. There is a set of colored glasses for the guests in their rooms.

Care:

Mario Luca Giusti acrylic is a great substitute for glass. Acrylic will not yellow and the colors are weather and sunlight resistant. MLG products are BPA free. Hand wash all acrylics with warm water to maintain optimal appearance.

Although it resists most chemicals found in normal use, dishwasher rinse agents can cause cracking and crazing (hairline cracks) on the surface. Not recommended for use in the dishwasher or microwave.
